What happens during an interior detail?
An interior detail cleans areas in your car you didn’t even know needed cleaning. First we start by thoroughly vacuuming all carpets and crevasses ridding the fibers of dust and debris. Second all the hard surfaces in your car are deeply cleaned using an all purpose cleaner. This prepares the plastic and leathers to be conditioned and protected. Next we use brushes and cloths to clean the hard to reach areas like cup holders and door pockets. After that the seats (cloth or leather) are agitated with a brush to loosen all the pant material drilled into the seat. Next we remove the floor mats and use a hard bristle brush to loosen all of the embedded dirt, which is followed by either a pressure wash or vacuum. Finally the floor mats are put back in your vehicle and the plastics and leathers are protected from deterioration, UV rays, and staining.

Our interior detailing process
1. Vacuuming
First we remove your floor mats and then start vacuuming your carpets. We suck up the major spots first and then move onto the cracks and crevasse between and under the seats.
2. Panel wipedown
We dust off the panels first and then depending on how dirty they are, we either spray on our cleaner and simply wipe them down, or we use our brushes and agitate every square inch to lift the dirt.
3. Cupholder/pockets
Our interior cleaning gets sprayed down into the pocket and sits to loosen everything up. We then use a regular brush or drill brush to agitate everything and then we remove the residue.
4. Seat cleaning
Depending on whether you have leather or cloth seats we spray on our cleaner and then use our brushes to lift all of the dirt up. For cloth seats we spray on the cleaner and remove light stains.
5. Screen/guages
The window cleaner gets sprayed onto a towel and then we carefully wipe down the glass/plastic in order to make sure it does not come out scratched.
6. Window cleaning
We use the same window cleaner which is safe for any tint. We first spray it onto our towel and then wipe down the inside of the window and the top where there is a line of residue.
7. Door jambs
We spray our window cleaner into the doorjambs and use our brushes (if needed) or we just use a towel and remove any dirt or build up even from the hinges.
8. Trunk vacuuming
Whther you have a sedan or SUV we will do a full vacuuming of the trucnk and walls, as well as the under side where the spare ire is located.
9. Leather conditioning
If you have leather seats we will have first cleaned them, we will the apply our conditioner onto a cloth and apply the conditioner to all surfaces of the seat.
10. UV ray protectant
After all of your panels are cleaned we then apply our UV ray protectant to all the surfaces to prevent fading and keeping your interior looking new!
Mastering Interior Car Detailing: Tips for a Spotless and Luxurious Ride
Interior car detailing is the art of restoring and enhancing the interior of your vehicle to a pristine, almost showroom-like condition. A well-detailed car interior not only provides a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience but also adds value to your vehicle. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or simply looking to maintain your car’s resale value, mastering the art of interior car detailing is essential. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll delve into the best practices for interior car detailing that will leave your vehicle looking and feeling as good as new.
1. Cleaning and Vacuuming
The foundation of any successful interior car detailing session is a thorough cleaning and vacuuming. Start by removing any loose items such as trash, personal belongings, and floor mats. Use a soft-bristle brush to gently agitate and loosen dirt and debris from upholstery, carpets, and crevices. Follow this up with a powerful vacuum to suck up the dislodged particles, leaving your car’s interior surfaces clean and debris-free.
2. Dashboard and Center Console
The dashboard and center console are the focal points of your car’s interior. Use a microfiber cloth and a gentle interior cleaner to wipe away dust, fingerprints, and smudges from surfaces. Pay special attention to air vents and buttons, where dirt tends to accumulate. For a polished finish, consider applying a non-greasy protectant that not only enhances the appearance but also guards against UV damage.
3. Upholstery and Carpets
Deep cleaning upholstery and carpets is crucial for achieving a luxurious and comfortable interior. For fabric seats, use an appropriate upholstery cleaner and a soft-bristle brush to lift stains and grime. Leather seats require a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain their suppleness and prevent cracking. When cleaning carpets, consider using a carpet-specific cleaner and a detailing brush to work on stubborn spots.
4. Windows and Mirrors
Crystal-clear windows and mirrors are essential for optimal visibility. Use a glass cleaner and a lint-free microfiber cloth to wipe away smudges, fingerprints, and dirt from the glass surfaces. A trick to avoid streaks is to clean windows in a horizontal motion on the inside and a vertical motion on the outside. Don’t forget to clean the rearview mirror and side mirrors as well.
5. Odor Elimination
Unpleasant odors can greatly diminish the enjoyment of your car’s interior. Instead of masking odors with air fresheners, address the root cause. Vacuuming and cleaning all surfaces can help, but if lingering odors persist, consider using an odor eliminator or a baking soda solution. Additionally, ensure that your car’s cabin air filter is clean and functioning properly.
6. Finishing Touches
After the thorough cleaning process, it’s time for the finishing touches that truly elevate the interior detailing. Run a lint roller over fabric surfaces to catch any remaining particles. Use a soft brush to dust off delicate areas like the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. Finally, consider applying a protectant to rubber and plastic surfaces to prevent them from fading and cracking over time.
Conclusion
Mastering the art of interior car detailing is a rewarding endeavor that transforms your vehicle’s interior from mundane to extraordinary. Regular detailing not only enhances your driving experience but also preserves your car’s value over time. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you can achieve a spotless and luxurious car interior that you’ll be proud to show off. Remember, attention to detail is key to achieving the best results, so invest the time and effort for a truly stunning outcome.
